What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activities Assistant position at The Kendal Corporation?
Activity Assistant, Per-Diem, normal work hours are 9 : 00am to 5 : 30pm and 10 : 30am to 7 : 00pm. Rate of pay $19.87 to 21.04. Assist in the implementation of recreational programs for residents in the health center. Experience working with older adults in a long-term care setting. Must demonstrate patience to work with residents at all levels. Ability to initiate resident activity in both a group setting and individual basis. Ability to complete required documentation. Employees must be creative and flexible, problem solve, organize tasks in a timely manner. Ability to read aloud to groups. Background in Music or Art a plus. Submit resume and application form.
