Position Summary :
Kenjya-Trusant is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer Level 3 to support our customer in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.
Essential Job Functions :
- The Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) shall perform, or review, technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Validates and verifies system security requirements definitions and analysis and establishes system security designs.
- Manually review network diagrams, network device configurations, termination points for VPNs and working knowledge of software TLS security.
- Maintain flexible and non-traditional Risk Management Framework (RMF) review of unclassified / classified networks to assess and prescribes countermeasures for secure communications.
- Apply different security standards and frameworks.
- Create security assessment reports, ad hoc technical / administrative tasks, keen writing skills and leadership qualities.
Minimum Required Qualifications :
Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for these positions are :
Level 3 - $220,000.00 - $274,000.00.
