(CS) System Engineer Level 2 (TS/SCI w/Poly)

Position Summary:

Kenjya-Trusant is looking for a System Engineer to support our customer in the Annapolis Junction area.

Essential Job Functions:

• Research and collect documentation to perform attack path analyses for mission functions and critical space systems.
• Identify interoperability among related systems and infrastructure and find potential cybersecurity risks.
• Analyze user's requirements, concepts of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Analyze system requirements and leads design and development activities.
• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) – Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Service-oriented Architecture (SOA), etc.
• Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Fourteen (14) years' experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly.
• Expertise in Systems Engineering, Systems Security Engineering, and technical project management to support vulnerability assessments and mitigations, engineering design reviews, and cyber tabletop exercises for US military space systems.
• System Engineering improvement efforts; model-based systems engineering and vulnerability assessment methods.
• Project management and communications skills.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is: $195,000.00 - $235,000.00
