Position Summary:
Kenjya-Trusant is seeking a System Engineer to support our customer in the Annapolis Junction area.
Essential Job Functions:
- Research and collect documentation to perform attack path analyses for mission functions and critical space systems.
- Identify interoperability among related systems and infrastructure and find potential cybersecurity risks.
- Analyze user's requirements, concepts of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
- Analyze system requirements and leads design and development activities.
- Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) – Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Service-oriented Architecture (SOA), etc.
- Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Fourteen (14) years' experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly.
- Expertise in Systems Engineering, Systems Security Engineering, and technical project management to support vulnerability assessments and mitigations, engineering design reviews, and cyber tabletop exercises for US military space systems.
- System Engineering improvement efforts; model-based systems engineering and vulnerability assessment methods.
- Project management and communications skills.
Salary : $195,000 - $235,000
