Job purpose :
Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis to teach individuals with disabilities new skills utilizing procedures rooted in behavioral science and creating learning environments that are exciting, fun, and motivating. The Behavior Technician will also be responsible for providing feedback and collecting data as it relates to the program established for each individual.

Provide 1 : 1 Applied Behavior Analysis therapy with individuals.Follow the prescribed Treatment and Behavior Support Plan.Ensure that all Kennedy Collective, State, and Insurance regulations, and policies are adhered to.Collect and record behavior and skill acquisition data.Record therapy notes for each session using Therap.Ensure all training courses are current.Provide professional and timely communication with co-workers, supervisor, family members and guardiansand other team members.
Assist the BCBA in preparing and organizing client materials as instructed.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.Ensure the protection of the individual’s rights and safety by following HIPAA regulations, ensuring privacy, andreporting any type of abuse or neglect.
Drive personal vehicle to various in-home settings to complete service delivery.If necessary, transport individuals in personal vehicle in the community.Intervene in emergencies and behavioral situations as needed.Maintain a comfortable home or program space, ensuring a clean and safe environment.Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent.Have two years of experience working with children with ASD.Valid driver’s license.Compassion and patience for those you work with.Ability to work independently and as well as part of a team using good judgment and a sense of initiative.Work a flexible schedule that may include mornings, evenings, and weekends.Knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office and the Internet.Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift up to 50lbsHave the physical endurance to use PMT holds.Have the physical endurance to be able to lift and transfer individuals as assigned.Ability to provide personal care which may include toileting, bathing, feeding, lifting, and transferring an individualThe Kennedy Collective invests in the success of all new employees by providing an immersive new hire orientation and training experience.
