What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Attendant (Seasonal) position at The Kentucky Castle?
Supervision: Reports to the Director of Rooms
List of Duties:
- Set up seating, towels, umbrellas, music, and water station
- Manage and replenish stock throughout the day as needed
- Checking in guests and verifying reservations
- Creating new pool reservations as needed
- Leading guests to their designated seating areas
- Making sure all guests adhere to pool policies
- Maintain the appearance of the pool area by sweeping, skimming the pool, clearing used towels and dishware, and straightening up the seating area
- Provide excellent customer service while assisting guests
- Be knowledgeable about other guest experiences available in order to better assist guests
- Assisting with food and bar service as needed
- Testing pool to monitor correct chemical levels
- Initiate closing tasks in the case of inclement weather
- Close and refresh the appearance of pool area at the end of shift
