Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Program Technician to join our team at The Key Residential Recovery Center. This role is essential in supporting the needs of clients in our residential recovery home. Addiction recovery at The Key Residential Recovery Center is holistic, evidence-based treatment with highly specialized practitioners. The Program Technician provides direct support and care to individuals in recovery, assisting with daily activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment, while working under the supervision of counselors and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and Supervision: Overseeing clients' daily activities, ensuring adherence to treatment plans and facility rules, and reporting any concerns to clinical staff.
- Medication Administration: Assisting with medication administration as needed, following protocols and safety guidelines.
- Transportation: Transporting clients to and from various areas within the facility or to external appointments.
- Crisis Intervention: Providing support and assistance during crisis situations, de-escalating conflicts, and ensuring client safety.
- Group and Individual Activities: Participating in and facilitating group and individual activities, such as therapy sessions, educational programs, and recreational activities.
- Assisting with Treatment Plans: Collaborating with counselors and other healthcare professionals to implement individualized treatment plans.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records, documenting client progress, and reporting relevant information.
- Maintaining a Safe Environment: Ensuring a clean, safe, and supportive environment for all clients.
- Security Checks: Conducting regular security and safety checks within the facility.
- Urinary Analysis: Conducting and documenting urinary analysis, as needed.
- Interacting with Clients and Staff: Communicating effectively with clients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Coordination with External Resources: Coordinating with external community resources to support patient recovery.
- Ongoing Training: Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or GED is generally the minimum requirement.
- Relevant Experience: Experience in a related field, such as social work, mental health, or substance abuse, is highly valued.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Certificate: A degree in social work, psychology, substance abuse or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
SCHEDULE
We are currently hiring evening, weekend and overnight shifts.
Hours for these shifts are as follows:
3:00pm-11:00pm
11:00pm-7:00am

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
