The Kid's Corral is seeking a part time PreK Teacher at our Providence location. We are seeking a high energy, self motivated person who can connect with children to provide a fun and friendly learning atmosphere.
The ideal candidate is creative, professional, and has experience working with children 3yr-4 yr olds in a licensed childcare. However, we are willing to train the right person.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, degree preferred, be able to pass a criminal background check, be CPR/FA certified and have a true passion for working with children. We are not a “daycare”. Our teachers are expected to follow lesson plans and ensure an educational, safe learning environment for the children they teach.

Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Teach basic academic skills such as math, language, and science
- Incorporate physical education and outdoor play into daily routines
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred
- A strong passion for child welfare and early childhood education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of age-appropriate teaching methods and curriculum development
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Patience, creativity, and flexibility in adapting to the needs of individual children
- Basic understanding of math concepts to teach foundational skills
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
