The Human Resources Director will serve as a key member of the leadership team, responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support the company’s goals and values. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on implementation, encompassing talent acquisition, employee engagement, organizational development, and compliance. You will be instrumental in driving a positive workplace culture while aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.

Essential duties include and not limited to the following :
- Develops, implements, and evaluates the bank’s employment policies, procedures and practices.
- Manages and directs the development of financial institution job specifications, job screening, and recruitment activities as well as selection of staff for promotions, change of job assignments, terminations, or transfers.
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Oversees the job structure by developing and updating job descriptions for all positions.
- Oversees the recruitment process by working with hiring managers, interviewing, assisting with selection to fill vacant positions in all departments.
- Monitors and makes recommendations to ensure the financial institution is in compliance with compensation laws and regulations.
- Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation, conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind voluntary separations and report information to senior management.
- Initiates and manages the process for terminations.
- Process employee claims for Unemployment and Workers Compensation benefits.
- Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training supervisors to coach and discipline employees in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintains knowledges of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Provides support and guidance to all employees when complex and sensitive questions and issues arise.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
