Job Summary
TKA is a Christ-centered school grounded in a Biblical worldview, and we are looking for an Administrative Coordinator who is a follower of Jesus Christ and is dedicated to the school’s Christ-centered mission. This position plays a key role in supporting the Business Office and K-8 Principal by managing administrative tasks, logistics, and operational functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will be a service-minded, self-starter who is detail-oriented and has a love for numbers.
Requirements
Essential Job Functions
Regular Duties
- Mentor a group of students by meeting daily as part of the school’s home group program
- Provide administrative support for special events from planning through execution
- Greet, screen, and assist visitors, maintain visitors' logs, and issue badges when necessary
- Provide a welcoming environment to the Business Office over phone, email, and in person
- Assist with scheduling, communication, and day-to-day administrative tasks
- Organize and file documents, both in paper form and electronically
- Assist in the processing, filing, and tracking of vendor invoices and receipts
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely submission of required documentation
- Manage cards, floral arrangements, and other items to support CCC
- Collect and distribute messages, incoming mail, and packages
- Manage the postage and mailing of mail and packages
- Troubleshoot problems with copiers and arrange for service as needed
- Keep office lobby neat and tidy and water lobby plants weekly
- Maintain and wipe down B Building break room
- Stock main office and B Building workroom supplies
- Assist with various accounting and human resources tasks
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Some college coursework preferred
- 5 years of administrative experience required

- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and taking initiative

- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent skills in communicating both orally and in written form
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Quick to adapt and learn new software systems and technologies

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Required to use the computer throughout the day
- Work will be performed from the campus
- Will move throughout the campus during the day
- May occasionally have to lift up to 40 pounds
- Work is generally performed, year-round, Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:00.

- Pay Grid: Coordinator ll
- Pay Grid Range: $29.18 to $34.88
- This position is paid based on a preset salary grid, and the actual salary will be determined by applicable education and experience as determined by the Human Resources department. The starting pay listed reflects this position's minimum experience and education requirements. The top pay range represents the top of the pay grid for this position. It is rare for a candidate to enter this position at the top of the pay grid. Most candidates can expect to enter in the lower to middle section of the pay grid, depending on experience and education.
