What are the responsibilities and job description for the ONLINE MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL ENGLISH TEACHER - PART TIME STIPEND position at The King's Academy?
Teaching content area material to The King's Online Academy students, with Biblical integration, according to the overall philosophy, policies, and objectives of The King's Academy.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to teach a variety of middle or high school courses in the subject area of English to middle and high school students in the online setting. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. Advanced degree is preferred. Must hold or be willing to obtain teacher certification in one of the aforementioned subject areas. The successful candidate should have at minimum three years of experience teaching in an educational setting and online experience is preferred. The teacher will prayerfully help students learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, responsible, disciplined Christians who exhibit knowledge and wisdom in submission to God.
The employees of the King's Academy are ministers of the Gospel and the successful candidate will possess a clear testimony of personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and must be able to demonstrate active membership and involvement in an evangelical local church. The teacher will ascribe to and perform all duties in accordance with The King's Academy's Statement of Faith and Employee Role Model Standards.
