What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN-weekends position at The King's Daughters' School?
We are a private, residential boarding school that serves individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism.
We are seeking a part-time LPN to work weekends at our Center for Autism.
Schedule is Sat and Sun 12 hour shifts.
Minimum qualifications
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid LPN license.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Clean criminal background (no felony convictions, no abuse, assault or neglect history).
- Be in good health and free of mental and/or physical limitations which would interfere in dealing appropriately with the client’s handicapping conditions and behavior disorders.
Essential Duties:
- Triage injuries/illnesses to determine the need for appropriate care.
- Administer medications as prescribed or recommended by KDS standing orders
- Monitor all clients, documenting administration of medications
- Transport students to clinic appointments
