The King's Daughters' School is a private, residential boarding school that serves individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism.
We are seeking a Midnight Coordinator to oversee our overnight staff and clients. CPR and Handle with Care training provided.
Full-time overnight position with some hours outside of regular schedule as needed to attend meetings and trainings.
Minimum requirements:
- At least 21 years old
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in a residential setting preferred
- Valid Driver's license required
- 2 years of supervisory experience, including training, disciplining and scheduling staff required.
- 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism preferred.
- Be in good health and free of mental and/or physical limitations which would interfere in dealing appropriately with the client’s handicapping conditions and behavior disorders.
- Clean criminal background (no felony convictions, no abuse, assault or neglect convictions).
- Pass a drug screen (drug-free workplace).
Primary responsibilities:
- Ensure an appropriate and safe living environment including client care and hygiene on a daily basis.
- Work with staff through direct supervision, hands-on training and weekly staff meetings to coordinate breaks, activities, staff performance, staff training and adherence to program guidelines.
- Assume management of residential program for midnight shift and inspect residences to periodically to be sure that day-to-day operations are conducted to KDS standards on a consistent basis and that staff/client ratios meet all licensure standards.
