What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Program Manager position at The King's Daughters' School?
The King's Daughters' School is a private, year-round residential school for individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism located in Columbia, TN.
We are seeking a Residential Program Manager to work with clients with intellectual disabilities and autism.
This is a salaried position, starting pay is $47,632/year, schedule is 12pm-8pm Monday-Friday but may include some hours outside of those times due to program needs.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelors’ Degree required.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- RBT certification or behavioral experience a plus.
- At least one year of training or experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or autism strongly preferred.
- Successful completion of pre-employment background screens, drug screen and TB skin test. (We can't hire anyone with felony convictions or abuse/assault convictions)
- Be in good health and free of mental and/or physical limitations which would interfere in dealing appropriately with the client’s handicapping conditions and behavior disorders.
- Ability to kneel, bend and clean on knees; move furniture and lift items that weigh at least 40 lbs
Essential Duties of a Program Manager include:
- Lead staff with a modeling approach and provide immediate feedback to staff on performance issues, including disciplinary as well as student behavior and programming guidance
- Work with the Residential Leadership Team to develop and perform evaluations on direct care employees.
- Work with the Residential Director and Assistant Residential Director on the day to day operations within the residences to which assigned; including but not limited to record keeping, observing and charting behavior, cleanliness and maintenance and upkeep of the group home.
- Serve as direct care in residence when staffing needs mandate.
