Schedule
- Sat and Sun 8am-10pm
- Sat and Sun 8am-4pm
- Sat and Sun 12pm-10pm
- Sat and Sun 3pm-11pm
- $15 base pay with a $2 shift differential for weekend shifts)
- 16-28 hrs/week with opportunities to pick up extra hours
Must pass criminal background check (no felonies, no abuse, assault or neglect convictions) and drug screen.
The King's Daughters' School is a private, residential boarding school that serves individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism.
We are seeking Residential Assistants to work in a house with 8-12 clients. CPR and Handle with Care training provided.
Minimum requirements:
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Driver's license required
- 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism preferred.
- Be in good health and free of mental and/or physical limitations which would interfere in dealing appropriately with the client’s handicapping conditions and behavior disorders.
- Clean criminal background (no felony convictions, no abuse, assault or neglect convictions).
- TB skin test and work physical required upon hire.
- Successfully pass drug screen.
Primary responsibilities:
- Maintain a warm, family-or home-like environment in a house of 8-12 clients.
- ADLs, social skills, behavior management.
- Ensure the residence is being left in a clean and orderly manner.
- Perform cleaning tasks.
