The Kingsway, a fine dining Asian restaurant experience from the James Beard-nominated team behind the acclaimed Saffron NOLA, is seeking a warm, polished, and professional Host to be the first point of contact for our guests. At The Kingsway, we combine heritage and innovation to create an elevated and unforgettable dining experience.
About the Role:
As a Host, you are the face of The Kingsway, welcoming guests with genuine hospitality and setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. You will manage reservations, maintain an organized front-of-house, and communicate effectively with both guests and the service team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet guests warmly and sincerely as they enter the restaurant
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements using our reservation system
• Maintain a welcoming and organized entrance and waiting area
• Coordinate with servers and management to optimize table turns and guest satisfaction
• Assist with phone inquiries and provide accurate information about our menu and concept
• Uphold the high standards of hospitality that reflect the legacy of Saffron NOLA
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a host in a fine-dining or upscale environment preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced setting
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
