What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Maintenance Worker I position at The Kintock Group?
This position, under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor or designee is responsible for non-mechanical maintenance assistance.
Essential Functions: (Performs other work related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor)- Conduct daily maintenance inspections through each facility on the complex;
- Make daily reports of service and/or maintenance needs;
- Ensure that maintenance tools are secured and monitored;
- Maintain inventory of maintenance materials;
- Facilitate the purchasing process for maintenance supplies;
- Coordinate maintenance services assigned to residents;
- Instruct and supervise material handling safety issues for residents;
- Participate in mandatory training and staff development;
- Maintain clearance through contracting agencies; and
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations or designated supervisor.
Advance technical training is preferred) and demonstrated technical skills required for high quality maintenance of heat, air, safety and sanitation issues in a residential facility.
Knowledge:
This position requires an in-depth knowledge of all facility maintenance processes.

Education Requirements:
This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent
