The sales consultant will play a crucial role in introducing school districts in Alabama to The Kirkland Group. By effectively developing and managing a robust sales pipeline, the sales consultant will ensure that our services are expanded to enhance student learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve Quota: Close deals and ensure robust pipeline development to achieve booking targets.
- Establish Presence: Position The Kirkland Group as the preferred solution for K-12 school districts.
- Build Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with superintendents and cabinet members to drive consensus and procurement decisions.
- Navigate Processes: Manage complex procurement, evaluation, and negotiation processes, including legal, RFPs, pilots, and POCs.

Responsibilities
- Provide general sales support (needs analysis, data review, and product demonstrations)
- Serve as the customer advocate and liaison for product management and development
- Prepare periodic forecasts and progress updates toward sales goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
- 10 years' of sales consulting or education consulting experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
