Role Summary:
As a Shelter Overnight Monitor, you will serve as one of our Frontline Heroes. We serve diverse populations which include youth, families, Veterans, and seniors. What We Offer:

Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe environment for participants using the Housing First Philosophy and Trauma Informed Care Model
- Monitor the property for safety concerns and apply corrective measures as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the shelter
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience working with the homeless or disadvantaged populations preferred
Drug-Free Workplace
The Kitchen receives federal grants and contracts and therefore must comply with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988. Marijuana is considered an illegal drug under federal law, with no exception for medicinal use and is not protected under ADA.
