Independent Contractor Lead Cabinet Installer

The Kitchen Installers are a rapidly growing kitchen designing and installation company rapidly growing focusing on RTA & Non- RTA kitchen installations. TKI installs all throughout the Tampa area (Spring Hill, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Tampa, Brandon, Sarasota, Bradenton) and occasionally throughout Florida. This is an excellent high paying 1099 contractor opportunity for the right individual.

Responsibilities

• Work in the field, on mostly residential kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and closets under the direction of Project Manager
• Ability to work both independently and occasionally with other team members to complete projects on time and to customer's satisfaction
• Effectively and proactively communicate with owners and project manager to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
• Must be able to assemble & install RTA (Ready to Assemble) Cabinets such as IKEA, DL Cabinetry, Cabinets to Go, etc.
• Maintain worksite cleanliness

Required Qualifications

• 5 years verifiable experience and/or cabinet assembly & installation
• Fluent in English - bilingual is a major plus (spanish/english)
• Basic math skills related to construction
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Own tools such as drills, table saw, miter saw, level, etc.
• Desire to take pride in work completed and to provide excellent customer service on all projects
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn new skills
• Experience with IKEA SEKTION cabinet installation is a plus
• General construction, finish carpentry, drywall repair or install, flooring, backsplash, cabinet removal/demo, painting, and general repairs are a HUGE plus

Compensation

• This position is for CONTRACT HIRE 1099 ONLY. Perfect for subcontractors and independent handyman looking to take on more work without dealing with the hassles of marketing, lead generation, customer relations, etc.
• VERY competitive subcontractor pay - HIGHER than industry standards.
• Average weekly “Take Home Pay” can range from $1750 to $2250 on cabinet installations alone
