Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage guest relations effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Needed Tuesday/Wednesday nights and Saturday/Sunday Brunch

Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and inviting demeanor.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using the Aloha POS system or similar software.
- Communicate wait times accurately to guests and ensure they are comfortable while waiting.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Handle phone calls professionally, taking reservations and answering questions about the menu or services offered.
- Support food service staff as needed, ensuring that all guests receive timely service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and guest relations.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help both guests and team members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
