At DIY Jeep Tours and Avis Rental Car in Skagway, Alaska, our Tour Attendants are the first point of contact for customers, setting the tone for their experience with us.
As a Counter Attendant, you’ll welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, assist with reservations, and ensure each customer receives excellent service.
Your responsibilities will include managing check-ins, taking customer requests, accepting payments, and helping guests with any needs or questions they may have during their visit.
This role requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
Customer Service Excellence
Greet each customer with a warm, friendly, and welcoming attitude.
Ensure that all visitors feel comfortable and well-cared-for from the moment they arrive until they depart.
Check-In & Reservations
Efficiently check-in customers for their Jeep tours or car rentals, providing all necessary instructions and ensuring they have all the information needed for a smooth experience.
Upon return, assist with check-in process for all vehicles and review tour feedback with customers.
Communication & Problem Solving
Listen carefully to customer requests to ensure accuracy when processing orders.
Address any issues or questions with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities.
Payment Processing & Transactions
Accurately process payments for tours, vehicle rentals, and other services.
Handle cash, credit cards, and receipts efficiently, ensuring all transactions are completed with care and precision.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless operations.
- Assist in various tasks as needed, always maintaining a positive and cooperative attitude to promote a productive, enjoyable work environment.
Maintain Cleanliness & Organization
