Description
SUMMARY
The Director of Project Management and Workforce Administration is primarily responsible for the goals, measurements, and results of the operational and General & Administration departments. This will include directing the execution and successful completion of projects that enhance and streamline operations across the Sports Operations Group. In addition, the incumbent will direct the administration function supporting the event day staff and the office administration team that supports the Foxboro campus.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct the project management and administration functions in support of all Operational Department Heads in the Sports Operations Group.
- Direct and manage critical high impact projects that streamline processes, increase efficiency, and improve operational excellence ensuring delivery within planned timelines, budget, and expected outcomes.
- Partner with IT on the development and deployment of new technology that enhances business function and improves efficiency across the Sports Operations Group.
- Manage the utilization of SharePoint technology to drive the administrative / reporting process to support key operational stakeholders, including the SVP of Operations, VP of TeamOps, VP of F&B and VP of Site Operations. This will include event data and event recaps.
- Collaborate with finance on monitoring and tracking event cost; as well as creating historical data to be shared with and leveraged by the department leaders for future events.
- Analyze data and present recommendations and / or opportunities for improvement to the Sr. VP of Operations.
- Partner with Human Resources on administration, automation, communication, and management of part time resources across all operational workgroups.
- Provide managerial support and assistance to operational departments with respect to communication plans between event management and operational workgroups.
- Translate department specific standard operating procedures for all aspects of the event operation and integrate them with relevant administrative operating procedures.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and act as a change agent to influence, lead, and develop a culture of process improvement.
- Manage direct reports to include scheduling, payroll, and performance.
- Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
- Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.
