The Kraft Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced OCC Warehouse Manager to lead our team in achieving operational excellence in the OCC warehouse. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the OCC warehouse, including managing inventory, coordinating with procurement, and maintaining a safe work environment.
About the Role
In this role, you will lead a team of handlers and lead handlers to achieve operational excellence in the OCC warehouse. This includes managing inventory, tracking OCC BOL scale weights, entering carrier assets into SMS, and monitoring quality.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage OCC warehouse inventory through release numbers
* Track OCC BOL scale weights to monitor scale accuracy
* Enter carrier assets into SMS as directed by the Director of Transportation and Logistics
* Coordinate with procurement to monitor quality of incoming fiber
Requirements
* 3-5 years of containerboard or recycled containerboard manufacturing/operations/engineering experience or 2-3 years of front-line supervisory leadership
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
