SUMMARY:

The Revolution Academy Intern will support the Director of Revolution Academy Programs and other Academy Managers with various strategic projects and initiatives for the Revolution Academy partner programs. This intern will be provided the opportunity to experience the management of operations, marketing, Partner relations and event planning in a youth sports organization.  The responsibility of organizing paperwork, equipment and supplies for operations and youth soccer tryouts is a critical element of this position. Through hands on experience, the incumbent will develop a better understanding of all aspects of sports management within a professional clubs Academy system.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist Director of Revolution Academy Programs and Regional Manager with youth sports specific research
2. Assist Revolution Academy Partner Programs with try-out materials, data collection, coaching guide folders, on field evaluations and additional logistical tasks as business dictates
3. Assist Academy program managers with operations including equipment, paperwork, and supplies for various Academy programs
4. Assisting parents and families with camp paperwork requirements through a variety of communication correspondence, including e-mail and phone
5. Assist with preparation for Academy Staff seasonal training event
6. On-field participation in Community Engagement clinics and events
7. Special projects as business dictates

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
