Description
SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for reporting the organizations finances to management, working to develop, analyze and maintain budgets, and ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Month-end financial close support including journal entry preparation and account reconciliation and accrual analysis

Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement reports

Participate in annual budget process and provide ongoing budget to actual analysis for various operating departments

Review revenue and sales reports, invoices customers and reconcile related cash activity
-
Prepare revenue reconciliations, and investigate discrepancies
-
Provide assistance with Accounts Payable vouching and matching of invoices, as needed
-
Provide support during year-end financial statement audits

Provide ad hoc support to finance department personnel
-
Special analytical projects and assignments as business dictates
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting
-
0 - 2 years of accounting related experience

Familiarity with Financial Statement presentation and basic GAAP fundamentals

Strong computer literacy with proficient use of Microsoft Excel is required

Ability to work independently on multiple projects to meet designated deadlines required
