Vice President for Information Technology
Marin Community Foundation (MCF) is a leading philanthropic organization whose purpose is to mobilize the power of community and the resources of philanthropy to advance equity for people, places, and the planet. Since their establishment in 1987, they have worked collaboratively with nonprofit partners and donors to build a better future for Marin County, the greater San Francisco Bay Area, and communities around the globe.
The Opportunity
The Vice President for Information Technology (IT) is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the Foundation’s information technology strategy as the technical platform for the success of the Foundation’s strategy.
Over the next 3 years, the Foundation will be overhauling its IT systems to meet the current and future needs of the organization. IT has been identified as a key priority for MCF’s next chapter and significant funds have been budgeted for improvements to software, cloud services, and equipment. Building on its legacy systems, the next VP will lead the selection, design, and implementation of these new systems, setting MCF up to achieve its goals, and will be responsible for the ongoing oversight, supervision, and monitoring of all IT initiatives.
The VP reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is a member of the Foundation’s management team. They manage a team of 6 technology staff.
