Position Overview - Content / Videographer Instructor
L.O.V.E. Academy is seeking passionate and experienced instructors to lead our 4-week summer camp for high school students. This camp provides hands-on learning in Culinary Arts, Songwriting & Recording, and Content & Film Production, equipping students with real-world skills and industry knowledge. Instructors will guide students through immersive lessons, hands-on projects, and career-building experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Film Production Instructor Responsibilities:
- Teach students video production skills, including filming, directing, and editing.
- Provide instruction on lighting techniques, interviewing subjects, and storytelling for social media content and film.
- Guide students in creating short-form content for their portfolios.
- Offer hands-on experience with professional camera equipment, editing software, and production tools.
- Mentor students on career pathways in content creation, film, and digital media.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Professional experience in film production, digital content creation, and/or social media marketing.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of filmmakers and content creators.

Position Details
- Employment Type: Contract (4-weeks) *must be available for the duration of the camp.
- Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 1.5 hours in the afternoon (time TBD)
- Duration: 4 weeks (plus required training and orientation prior to camp start)

About L.O.V.E. Academy
L.O.V.E. Academy is a fiscally sponsored project of the Arts & Business Council of Greater Nashville, a non-profit organization. The Academy serves Nashville high school teens (grades 9-12) through after-school and summer programming that spans various content areas, including culinary arts, songwriting and recording, film and content production, cosmetology, vocational training, communications, entrepreneurship, and STEM.
Our goal is to encourage teens to reach their full potential and develop life skills that will enable them to be self-sufficient, empowered, and thoughtful leaders in their professional and personal lives beyond high school. Our Summer Empowerment Camp integrates academic instruction, career readiness, and social-emotional development to provide students with a transformative learning experience.
