Starrett-Bytewise Measurement Systems is a growing company that designs and builds precision, laser-based, non-contact measurement equipment. We are seeking qualified individuals for a Sales and Service Coordinator position working from our office in Columbus, GA.

Infrequently, this role will require work at a trade show or a customer’s manufacturing facility. Education: Associates or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. 2 years of inside sales or similar administrative experience would be considered in lieu of a degree.

Travel: Less than 10%. Occasional trips for trade shows or specific customer visits may be required.

Essential Functions:
Coordination:
- Works with the Sales and Product teams to drive activities related to revenue generation including managing and tracking quotes ensuring appropriate follow-ups are made.
- Administer the Bytewise Maintenance Agreement Program. Provide quotes, track program membership, send reminders and renewals, and ensure overall success and growth of the program.
- Oversee the RMA process including issuing return authorizations, tracking in-bound shipments, timely repair evaluation, and providing repair quotes to the customer.
- Receives and processes incoming purchase orders to ensure accuracy and completeness. Conducts follow-ups with sales team and customers to answer open questions. Ensures all pre-production activities are completed within specified timelines.
- Maintains the sales order backlog and adjusts shipping timelines based on input from the Site Leader, Production Manager, and Product teams.
- Works directly with the Global Sales Manager on the administrative requirements of the CRM tool. Ensures accuracy, timely reporting, and funnel management activities.
- Works directly with the Product Teams on the service side of the CRM tool. Ensures timely ticket closure, escalates priority as necessary, and improves customer responsiveness.
- Provide quotes to the customer for basic spare and replacement part requests.
- Oversee the scheduling and logistics of demo equipment movement.
- Oversee the scheduling of on-site service and ensure all open requests are completed.
- At the direction of the Global Sales Manager, coordinate all bookings, logistics, and pre-show activities for various global trade shows.
- At the direction of the Global Sales Manager and in coordination with corporate marketing, provide materials for Bytewise marketing efforts.
- Maintain oversight of customer provided samples including sample processing, sample tracking, and sample returns.
- Handle all incoming phone calls and sales/service related email traffic. Appropriately route calls to the sales, engineering, and service groups. Ensure email requests are responded to and closed in a timely manner.
- Respond to all inquiries regarding shipping timelines, order status, and pre-shipment notification and logistics coordination.
- Will be responsible for accuracy and correctness of multiple tracking tools in our CRM and ERP.
- Liaison with customers in a prompt and professional manner.
- Other duties as assigned, at times may assist with our accounting or logistics teams.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and passport.
- Excellent spoken and written English is required, other language skill is beneficial.
