We are looking for a professional marketing intern to support The Lab’s sales and marketing team. The successful candidate will get hands-on marketing experience and serve as a researcher, coordinator and marketing campaign assistant, contributing to the success of The Lab’s marketing efforts.
This internship is a perfect opportunity for students to expand their knowledge of B2B marketing.
Job Duties
- Research potential clients
- Support sales and marketing executives with administrative duties
- Maintain prospect profiles and lead lists in The Lab’s marketing database
- Assemble marketing collateral packages for client sales presentations
- Keep a weekly inventory of all products used
- Assist with creation and execution of email and hardcopy marketing campaigns
- Provide upkeep of marketing spreadsheets to help track department performance
- Submit recap reports of marketing efforts
- Offer creative insight to campaigns and demonstrate an eagerness to learn
- Complete other administrative duties, special projects as assigned
Candidate Requirements
- Must be a student currently enrolled in a college or university
- Must maintain a consistent schedule in office (20 hours per week; not a remote position)
- Strong organizational, communication (verbal and written) skills
- Resourceful, able to improvise, solve problems
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
- Business, Marketing or Advertising majors preferred
- Prior experience in an office environment is a plus
- Experience with Salesforce database a plus
