Established over 30 years ago, the LAB team continues to grow its portfolio of community-based, retail-centric properties, including the LAB Anti-Mall, Cottage Industries, Casino San Clemente, and The BARN mixed-use residential project in Anaheim.
About the Job
We seek a Property Manager with 3-5 years of commercial property management experience, impeccable attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and comfort interacting with small business tenants, artisans, vendors, and service providers.
Responsibilities
- Weekly site visits for quality control, maintenance, and repair needs
- Responsive communication with tenants, vendors, security staff, janitorial staff, and engineers
- Vendor management, sourcing, bidding, and scheduling
- Maintaining lease files, updating rent rolls, COI's, W-9's, and reviewing/approving vendor and utility bills
- Reviewing LOI's during tenant negotiation and drafting leases
- Timely rent collections, sales reports, late fees, and legal action as required
- Managing office cell phones for 24/7 emergency calls
- Preparing CAM recs annually and spot-checking mid-year
Office Schedule
Full-time position, on-site, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of commercial property management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi experience preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication and understanding of financial statements
