Lab Tech (Weekend Shift)

The Lab is seeking goal-driven individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional products to the Michigan cannabis market. We pride ourselves on producing high-quality products while maintaining lean manufacturing practices throughout every stage of production. Since our founding in 2021, The Lab has grown rapidly in the pre-roll market, producing over 4.9 million pre-rolls in 2023 and 8.6 million in 2024!

Job Duties:

• Manufacture pre-rolls (Standard & Infused)
• Maintain strict quality control standards
• Package and labelling
• Meet production targets and goals
• Operate machines and equipment
• Effectively communicate relevant information
• Clean tools, equipment, surfaces, and machines
• Attend all scheduled staff meetings and training sessions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements:

• Sit, stand, bend, twist for extended periods of time.
• Repetitive motions performed over extended periods.
• Lift up to /- 50lbs.
• Ability to work in loud environments.
• Ability to work in a fast pace manufacturing atmosphere.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• One year of prior manufacturing experience.

This shift runs from Thursday to Sunday from 6 AM to 4 PM. We encourage applicants who are 21 years or older, dependable, and available for full-time weekend shifts to apply. Starting compensation is $21 per hour. Health benefits will be provided after 60 days of employment. After 120 days of employment, employees will be eligible for paid time off (PTO) benefits, with hours accruing immediately upon hire.
