Position: Library Bar Barista (Seasonal)
Reports to: Dir. - Food & Beverage
Job Summary: Assists hotel guests with coffee and hot tea orders in the Library Bar area, as well as alcoholic beverages
Essential Functions:
- Serve guests hot coffee, teas, and warm beverages
- Serve guests alcoholic beverages including pours of liquor, wine, beer and some light cocktail work
- Restock products within the bar, and prepare it for PM Service
- Empty trash cans, and keep the space tidy throughout the shift
- Be knowledgeable about beverage service and provide suggestions and ideas for guests who are unsure
- Light managerial duties like ordering and stocking coffee stations throughout the hotel and maintaining par levels as appropriate
- Develop specialty drinks and source products from around the region to provide to guests
- Host tastings and educational portions of guest services
Job Requirements:
- Barista experience required.
- Must be able to demonstrate effective communication.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
