We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry to join our team. As a Housekeeper/Laundry, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of our hotel rooms and laundry facilities. Your attention to detail and strong work ethic will contribute to creating a positive guest experience.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain hotel rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Ensure all areas of the room are clean and presentable, including bathrooms and common areas
- Handle guest requests for additional amenities or services promptly and efficiently
- Sort, wash, dry and fold hotel linens and towels
- Operate laundry equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and operating equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
Experience:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services preferred
- Knowledge of laundering techniques and proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated timeframes
