The Advanced Control Systems Engineer designs, develops, and supervises all aspects of electrical control systems and equipment.

Depending upon area of expertise some or all of the following will apply:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum is preferred and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Prolonged periods of standing or sitting.

The Advanced Control Systems Engineer designs, develops, and supervises all aspects of electrical control systems and equipment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Depending upon area of expertise some or all of the following will apply:
- Designs medium complexity electrical control panels including generating bills of materials and electrical schematics. Control panel designs are engineered in accordance with NEC and UL guidelines and company standards.
- Develops, tests, and commissions medium complexity PLC and HMI/SCADA based systems.
- Establishes sell price of products, professional services, and control systems.
- Manages daily activities for an account including production schedule, customer service and support.
- Responsible for getting work done, on time, according to our customers’ needs.
- Responsible for optimal profitability of assigned tasks.
- Keeps a daily record of time spent on jobs and enters into the ERP system.

- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field such as PLC programming, control panel engineering, HMI/SCADA software development, structured software programming.
- Relies on experience and judgment to perform the functions of the job.
- Works under general supervision.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
