The LAM Foundation is the global leader in the fight against lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM), a rare lung disease affecting young women. Our mission is to urgently seek effective treatments and a cure through advocacy and funding research while providing support and resources to patients, medical professionals, and researchers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead fundraising initiatives, including donor cultivation, grant writing, events, and peer-to-peer fundraising.
- Develop and execute annual development and communications strategies.
- Oversee donor database management, reporting, and recognition programs.
- Craft unified, mission-driven messaging across all platforms.
- Manage a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and Board on revenue and partnership goals.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of non-profit development experience (healthcare experience preferred).
- Proficiency in donor databases (Salesforce a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and grant-writing skills.
- Familiarity with digital platforms, content management systems, and Adobe Creative Cloud preferred.
- Compassion for individuals with chronic or rare diseases.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced credentials a plus.
