We’re looking for a talented Baker who understands the science behind baking and takes pride in the art of creating delicious, perfectly crafted baked goods. If you’re passionate about baking and have a knack for following precise recipes, we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow detailed recipes with precision, ensuring consistent quality.
- Bake fresh goods 5 days a week for delivery to our location.
- Manage doughs, batters, and other mixtures with proper technique, such as proofing bread, tempering chocolate, or achieving flaky pastry layers.
- Ensure high-quality, delicious results every time.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong understanding of baking science: yeast fermentation, baking temperature effects, and ingredient ratios.
- Experience in bread, cakes, pastries, and more.
- Ability to adapt techniques for texture, flavor, and presentation.
Additional Info:
- Commercial kitchen and all necessary baking tools will be provided.
- Baking will take place in Wailuku, and deliveries are to Kahului, Kihei & Wailea 5-days a week.
- Reliable transportation required for deliveries.
- Hourly rate: $27/hour.
