What You’ll Do
As the Memory Care Life Enrichment Director/ Coordinator, you will plan, organize, and implement all community-sponsored programs for those living with memory loss and their families. You will have an opportunity to enrich the resident’s lives by promoting socialization, identifying their personal interests, increasing their physical activity, and validating their unique needs.
As the Memory Care Life Enrichment Director/ Coordinator, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks.
Here are some general expectations:
- You will develop, plan, organize, and implement activities for those living with Alzheimer’s or other dementia or memory loss.
- You will coordinate elder activities and programs, which outside groups sponsor.
- You will develop plans and coordinate the community volunteer program.
- You will prepare and distribute a monthly activity schedule.
- You will Plan, implement, print, and distribute a monthly calendar.
- You will meet and greet visitors in a friendly, helpful manner. (Visitors include anyone who visits the community, specifically current elders’ families and friends, prospective elders and their families, referral sources, vendors, and regulators).
- You will model the Compass Senior Living Leadership Values – Guided by goodness, loyalty, faith, and fun.

- You will meet all health requirements as specified by state and/or federal regulations.
- You will be able to pass a criminal background check.
- You will be able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
