What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Advocate (Bilingual) position at The Landing?
The Youth Advocate is responsible for responding on-scene to crisis situations to provide trauma-informed crisis intervention, advocacy, outreach, emotional support, and to maintain an active case load of sex trafficking survivors and their non-offending caregivers. The Youth Advocate is responsible for using sound professional judgment to ensure quality case management, mentoring, and advocacy services are provided to youth survivors of commercial sexual exploitation and sex trafficking. Youth Advocates will be expected to be culturally competent to communicate effectively with law enforcement, community agencies, and diverse populations. Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays is mandatory for Youth Advocates. Full Job description, benefits, and more is on our website. Pay: $50,000.00 - $53,500.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.00 per week
