What are the responsibilities and job description for the Street Sweeper - TEST 3 position at The Landings Association?
The Landings Association is currently hiring a Street Sweeper Operator
Operates a street sweeper on a regular maintenance schedule to ensure streets within The Landings stay clear of debris allowing unhampered flow of drain water and traffic. Performs a variety of maintenance tasks both in assigned area as well as assisting with other areas within the Public Works Department.
Primary Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Operates a street sweeper to remove debris and allow water flow to storm drains.
- Assists the Environmental Manager in scheduling routes and determining priority order.
- Conducts daily inspections and communicates with the Fleet Coordinator on any issues found.
- Maintains accurate inspection and maintenance logs.
- Performs regular routine maintenance on the street sweeper to keep it in good working order.
- Trains other team members on street sweeper operations.
- Assists with performing cutbacks on vegetation using light equipment (i.e., chainsaw, trimmer, pole saw, blower, hedger, chipper, and backpack granular blower).
- Assists other Public Works teams with special projects or tasks during times of heavy workload.
