JOB DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES
- Developing and proofing written collateral such as press releases, Our Club Magazine articles, website copy, social media copy, blogs, and other marketing materials
- Assist Communications & Social Media Manager with media partner requests
- Organize and help prep daily communications to members – including emails, push notifications, emergency alerts, etc
- Manage and optimize any needed Website & Mobile App updates
- Supporting content creation – including photographing various events and activities around the Club for social media promotion
- Organizing & managing digital assets in Digital Asset Management system
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall marketing and public relations initiatives
- Other communication duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field preferred
- 1 or more years of experience preferred
CRITICAL SKILLS
- Applied understanding of basic public relations and communications principles
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – AP Style preferred
- Basic knowledge of photography – Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop experience a plus
