Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Warmly greets members and guests and ensures their needs are met.
- Plans and executes golf events to enhance member engagement and increase participation across key demographics.
- Oversees logistics for golf coaching and social events, including budgeting, scheduling, and communication with participants.
- Ensures smooth execution by coordinating with other departments, e.g., F&B, Marketing, and Engineering.
- Creates and promotes golf coaching and social programming, including but not limited to clinics and themed events.
- Monitors industry trends, and competitor activities to ensure our members receive the latest and most relevant programming.
- Collaborate with Golf Performance Center team on design and implementation of instructional programs tailored to various skill levels and age groups.
- Organizes and manages administrative responsibilities for golf clinics, workshops and camps.
- Builds strong relationships with members to understand their interests and create programming options personalized to suit our membership.
- Gather and analyze member feedback to continuously improve communication strategies and event execution. Monitor and evaluate the success of programs and adjust as needed.
- Strong member communication with response to email, phone and in person communication with members questions and concerns.
- Collaborate with TLGAC’s Marketing team to utilize various marketing channels, including social media, email newsletters, and the club’s website, to promote member engagement.
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- A member of or apprentice with the Professional Golfers Association of America or Ladies Professional Golf Association with experience at a private club with a high volume of play, preferred
- Self-starter
- Ability to understand and follow verbal/written instructions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Northstar, a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, able to handle multiple tasks, and to deploy resources effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Innovative and creative, ability to think outside the box
- Must be willing to provide exceptional service to members and leadership to position the department to achieve the mission
- Prior experience planning events preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support club events and activities
Physical Demands
- Standing and walking up to 90% of shift.
- Sitting, computer work up to 90% of shift.
- Bending and stooping.
- Ability to lift, carry or move from 1 pound up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working indoors or outside in a variety of weather conditions.
