We are a law firm that helps small businesses seek debt relief through the business bankruptcy and debt negotiation process.
We are looking for someone who has experience in working with small business owners or similar c-level executives.
Our marketing generates leads, we need someone to close the deals.
OBJECTIVES, RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIRED SKILLS
Ultimately, the success of this position is measured in your ability to retain clients for services provided by the firm.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Handle inbound leads generated from our online advertising and direct mail campaigns
- Work with small business owners suffering from overwhelming debt looking for a solution to keep their business alive and return to profitability
- Collaborate with the marketing department to develop online paid search and advertising campaigns targeting small business owners in Texas
- Understand the small business bankruptcy process and retainer agreement and be able to explain both to potential clients and answer their questions and address their concerns
- Understand the debt negotiation process and retainer agreement and be able to explain both to potential clients and answer their questions and address their concerns
- Use our Client Management system to document all client and potential client interactions
- Create the client retainer agreement using our online Client Management System and contract template system and submit to client for approval
- Establish a payment plan for services that is commensurate with the client's ability to pay
- Collect documents from the business owner as needed by the service agreement
- For clients seeking debt relief through the bankruptcy process, facilitate a client turnover to the legal team that will handle their case
- For clients seeking debt relief through negotiation rather than bankruptcy, establish and execute a negotiating strategy for reducing their debts with their creditors
Qualifications:
- Ability to learn about small business bankruptcy to the point of being fluent enough to explain the process
- A sales background
- Self-motivation
- The ability to be empathetic and responsive - our clients are dealing with a tragic situation regarding their business and they are looking for someone who can be responsive and understand their situation
- Technically savvy - we are a 100% digital office and you must be able to effectively use our online Client Management System for client interaction, documentation and sales reporting

Compensation
Compensation is salary plus performance based bonuses.
