What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Consultant (BCBA, LBA) position at The Language and Learning Lab?
We are seeking a part-time board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team. Our behavior analysts provide school, home and community based services to school age children who have behavioral and learning disorders. They are responsible for direct services, parent training, supervision, completing documentation and keeping accurate records of treatment plans, progress notes and annual reports. This position is in one location.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst Requirements:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or NYS Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA)
- Master's Degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education or related field
- Must be willing to provide services in Queens, NY (Oakland Gardens)
- Availability Monday - Thursday after school from 4pm -7pm
- Experience providing applied behavior analysis (ABA) to school age children diagnosed with Autism and various language and speech disorders
Board Certified Behavior Analyst Responsibilities:
- Provide services to children with Autism
- Foster strong relationships with families and create a nurturing learning environment in home settings
- Engage with caregivers to maintain consistent therapeutic schedules
- Maintain weekly, quarterly, and annual paperwork including daily session notes, progress reports and annual review
