What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Cleaner position at The Larimore Wedding Venue?
We are busy wedding venue, delivering 100 weddings a year. We are looking for someone who can work full time to ensure the overall cleanliness of the venue, and prepare the space for the weddings. There is a Honeymoon Suite on site that allows for the bride and groom to stay overnight on the night of their wedding. This job entails flipping this room and linens.
It is a very weekend heavy role, and each week will have a different schedule. It will begin at 32 hours a week, which could increase quickly over the next few months. The schedule will be determined by the General Manager 3-4 weeks in advance. This is a full time, at location position.
The job duties include:
- Ensures the overall cleanliness of the venue and ensuring it is sanitary and free of all trash, dust, debris. Including all spaces in the venue such as event spaces, restrooms, common areas and Honeymoon Suite.
- Keeps all cleaning products/tools in the venue well stocked and organized
- Is responsible for ensuring the Honeymoon Suite and event spaces are flipped and cleaned following an event in order to be ready for the next party to arrive
- Is responsible for laundering of in-house linens, towels, fabrics, etc.
- Responsible for ensuring safe cleaning practices are being used throughout the venue
- Works with the General Manager to establish cleaning schedules and cleaning checklists
- Develop and implement cleaning protocols, schedules, and procedures to ensure all areas of the venue are consistently cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
- Reports to the Facilities Manager any repairs or fixes that need to be made throughout the venue.

Pay: Up to $16.50 per hour
