The Lark, Main St. Pickens' first fine dining experience is seeking a Service Manager to oversee front-of-house operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. I am looking for a passionate and experienced hospitality professional to lead our team and set the standard for fine dining in the area.

Job Summary
I am are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of my restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for providing outstanding hospitality. This role is crucial in ensuring that our guests receive top-notch service while maintaining efficient operations.

Duties

  • Supervise and lead front-of-house staff, ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Manage shift operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels to minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.
  • Utilize POS systems for order processing and sales tracking while training staff on effective usage.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner to enhance guest experiences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area to create an inviting atmosphere for guests.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the food service or restaurant industry, preferably in a management role.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising and training staff.
  • Knowledge of food production processes and hospitality management principles.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
  • Familiarity with inventory control practices and POS systems is essential.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
