We are seeking an experienced Junior Accountant to join our team as an Accounting Specialist. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting and financial reporting while working alongside seasoned professionals. A strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices is required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with financial record maintenance and report preparation
- Perform account reconciliations and support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
- Review and process invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Maintain accurate financial databases and records
This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills are essential.
