Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Billing Analyst to join their finance team. The Billing Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes for their clients and supporting the financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Billing Analyst Responsibilities :
Generate and review client invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements and company policies
Verify billing data accuracy by reconciling sales orders, contracts and project details
Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues promptly and efficiently
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, project management and finance, to ensure alignment on billing processes and requirements
Maintain comprehensive documentation of billing activities and client communications
Assist in the development and implementation of billing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Support month-end and year-end financial close processes as needed
Billing Analyst Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
2 years of experience in billing, finance or accounting roles, preferably in a similar industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications
Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively
Experience with billing systems or ERP software is a plus
