Patient Registration Coordinator Responsibilities :
Engages with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery
Creates, communicates and obtains all required documentation for new referrals
Secures patient's upfront payment including assisting patients to find avenues for payment where needed (identifies opportunities and directs patients to financial assistance program)
Supports the ongoing activities needed to ensure clean claims on hold and denial management (follow-up on paperwork where missing)
Assist the Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed
Patient Registration Coordinator Requirements :
1 years of experience working in the healthcare industry is preferred
Ability to work well independently and also contribute to the overall success of the team
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Superior interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task effectively and be flexible to adapt to change
