Payroll Manager Responsibilities :
- Process payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes and other deductions
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll updates for new hires, terminations, and pay rate changes
- Guarantee compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
- Manage union reporting, weekly certified payroll, and multi-state tax deposits
- Handle electronic timesheets, unemployment taxes, and benefit-related payroll updates
- Assist with other tasks and special projects as assigned
